Good afternoon dear teachers and pupils! You’re welcome to our competition! Today 2 teams will compete and show us their knowledge in music of nowadays.

Let me introduce the tours of competition and then we will ask our experts about their expressions.

1^st tour —  Warming–up activity.

Name as many foreign songs containing names as possible.

2^nd tour — Guess the singer.

Pupils listen to 10 pieces of music and should guess the singer or music band; if they know the exact name of the song they get an additional point.

Teams get lyrics of the song “Crazy” by Britney Spears and while listening to the song should put them in order.

5. Translation.

Teams get lyrics of songs “Destination Calabria” by Alex Gaudino and “As long as you love me” by Backstreet boys and should give literal translation, while the music is playing in the background. Each team gets a part of the song.
