Teachers and Pupils!

Today there is a great holiday at school. It is the «Holiday of English week». First of all I want to congratulate the teachers of English with their holiday and wish them good health, every success in their work and personal lives. I want them to be always young and beautiful.

Good health and a long life to everybody! Today the pupils of 9th forms are in our hall. There will be a competition between the teams of 9th forms.

The theme of our competition is «Who reads more? Who knows more?».

Now I want to introduce you the members of each teams:

1st game :(«Аудармашы» ойыны:ана тілінде мәтін жазылған парақтарды алады,мәтінді оқып ағылшын тіліне аударады.Мәтінді мұғалім таңдайды. Мәтін жазылған парақ конверттің ішінде.)

2nd game: Ойын «Who reads more?» деп аталады.Жазушылардың аты-жөні жазылған парақты конвертті алып оқып сол жазушының шығармасын атайды.

There are cards with the names of writers and poets. You must call their novele, poems, works… .

3rd game: Now we’ll begin our third game. It is called: «The Sightseeing»

  • The building was built by William the Conqueror, in the last quarter of the 11th It was once even a royal zoo there. It is a museum.

  • It is said that it is a smaller version of the famous Grand Colorado Canyon in the US but really it has a charm of its own. It is the left tributary of the Ili river. Its banks are covered with different plants.

  • It is on the Tole Bi Street, between Panfilov Street and Abylai Khan Its style is somewhat different than that of the red Square. It was planned in 1957 at one of the Moscow architecture workshops. This was the former building for the House of Parliament. It is surrounded by lovely parks and fountains.
