1. Checking up home task

Let’s check up your home task. What was your home task for today? Your home task was to learn words and a poem.

III. Work with new words.

Our lesson is about animals. In order to understand the lesson you must listen to me attentively. Then you must read and translate. Look at the new words: a tiger, a lion, a fox, a bear, an elephant, a rabbit, a wolf, a cat, a dog, a cow, a horse, a camel, a sheep, a goat, a hen, a duck, a goose, a cock etc. we divide animals into 3 groups: domestic, wild, endangered.

1. Listening.

• Now, listen to me, please. I’ve got a pet. It is a cat. It is grey. My cat likes to eat fish. It likes to play. I love my cat very much. And what about you? Have you got a pet? What is it? What is its name? (T – P₁, T – P₂).

1. Working with pictures.

— What is this?

— It is a monkey.

— Is monkey a domestic animal?

— What kind of animal is it?

1. Sing a song.

“I found a cow”

I found a cow, I found a cow! How?

I found a bear! Where?

I found a hen! When?

I found a bear.

I found a hen.

I found a cow. Wow!

Do the actions:

2. Guess: It lives in the house. It likes fish  and meat. (a cat)

It lives in the forest. It likes bananas. (a monkey)

It is very big and grey. (an elephant)

This animal like grass. It is a domestic animal. It gives us milk. (a cow)

This animal lives at home or in the street. It is the man’s friend. (a dog)
